If the Input doesnt Register, then it doesnt Change. thats the only draw back with this tv because it does not allow me to change input to my 360 until the Start up screen shows. then i can select. has to do with some Smart sensor. I just started using an Hdmi Connector box to one hdmi output to rid that problem

Also if i switch the output hdmi cables between output 1&2 while televisions are on, the samsung tv will get signal (as will sharp tv). I'm not sure where is the problem.

This will not work. Sharp tvs will not output ANY audio from a hdmi input device, either analog (headphone jack) or digital (optical port). Those ports will only work if inputting analog (red/white) audio, or from the tvs internal tuner, this model tv also does not have an audio return channel, so options are quite limited.
